New construction can take an average of 6 to 9 months to complete and in areas where inventory if very low, you may purchase your plot up to a year before any construction is started.

  3. TRANSACTION TIME- It takes time to close on a house. Most people do not find a house and move in immediately. If you are getting a loan to purchase your home your loan will take time to close. Make sure you talk with your lender and realtor about closing time so you know about how long this will take for you. Even if you are bringing a huge bag of cask to close and you don’t need any time, the family occupying your dream house probably does. Make sure you allow enough time so you and your family can get settled in before starting work or school.
